I heard "Home Thoughts From Abroad" on the radio the other day and was so moved I tried to get the album. Tried HMV and Virgin to discover it was no longer available. Can anyone help. Would love to get a selection pressed on CD or Mini Disc.

Hard to find it while in England, impossible now that we live in Italy since 1983. I hope to get the works on CD before xmas, and btw merry xmas to you all. ennio

How long I have admired Clifford T Ward. His "Homethoughts" album have remained in my mind and heart ever since buying it in Virgin Records, Newhall Street, B'ham in the early 70's.. Being so far away from home these past 15 years you know how sentimental the words have become... have tried to repurchase the album here in SA but no-one seems to have heard of Clifford. So glad to have made the contact.. Real sorry to have heard of Cliff's illness, it has kinda hit me between the eyeballs. Strength to you Clifford.. seems so trite.. but I mean it

Congratulations on the web site. I'll never understand why such a lyrical genius has not received greater recognition and it is such a sad shame that he and his family face difficulties after all the pleasure he has given to us all over the years. He is a major singer/songwriter and only recognised by such a seemingly small sector of the record industry. I never thought I would be grateful to Terry Wogan (OK I'll admit that I like BBC Radio 2!), but recently his playing of "Homethoughts" and "Gaye" reminded me to at last seek out some recordings after long admiration of these and other songs over the years. I was soon reafirmed as a fan. The CD album "Gaye and Other Stories" has now been a constant occupant of disc 1 in the player (So that my wife knows where it is and she can play it as well) It was such a huge shock to read the sleeve notes and discover the reason for having missed new releases from him for so long. Love and strength to you Clifford and your family.

Delighted to find the site. I set about looking for a Clifford T. Ward site after hearing a snatch of 'the Best is yet to Come' on the radio the other day which put me in mind of Cliff's classics from the 70s. Never realised he had ten albums. Anybody know if there's some kind of 'Greatest hits' compilation available anywhere? I hope Clifford is doing well in his battle, and wonder if he is aware of the site?

Having recently bought a new PC and modem, I went "surfing" for the first time and was absolutely GOBSMACKED to find the website. I've been a fan of Clifford T. since the early 80's and it's really heart warming to find so many like minded people out there. Information about Cliff and his music has never been easy to find, so a big thank you Mick, for such an informative and well planned site. Season's greetings to all, I hope to meet some of you "Sometime Next Year".

I was a student in England in the 70s & 80s. I bought CTW's tapes for my SONY walkman which had just hit the market then. I was hooked and introduced CTW to my girlfriend. We are now happily married for over 11 years. Over the years, the tapes got worn out and I made a special trip a few years ago (before the age of internet)to London from Hong Kong to buy the CTW CDs. My job takes me around the world and currently we are living in New York City. No matter where we are, the CTW CDs are always with us. Thank you for your dedication and please keep this up.

I forgot to ask if anyone have guitar tab / chords of CTW's songs such as The Traveller, Home thoughts, etc. I would really appreciate if these can be emailed to me. Thanks.

I HAVE BEEN A BIG FAN OF CLIFFORD T WARD EVER SINCE MY DAD INTRODCED ME TO HIS MUSIC. HE TREASURES THE ALBUM HOME THOUGHTS WHICH HE BOUGHT IN 1972 AND FOR A LONG TIME I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND HIS LOGIC BEHIND THAT. AS MORE OF HIS MUSIC IS BEING REISSUED IT HAS BECOME CLEAR TO ME HOW INCREDIBLY LITERATE CLIFFORD WAS. I AM CURRENTLY DOING A LEVEL IN ENGLISH LITRATURE AND I HAD TO PERFORM A SEMINAR ON SOMEONE WHO INFLUENCED ME POETICALLY. THERE WAS ONLY ONE PERSON I COULD POSSIBLY CHOOSE. I DID VERY WELL AND REACHED THE HIGHEST SCORE SO FAR WITH 78% FOR A PRESENTATION. I WISH TO FIND MORE LITRATURE ABOUT THE LIFE OF CLIFFORD. I'D LIKE TO THANK YOU TO CLIFFORD FOR BRINGING ME A LOT OF HAPPY MEMORIES AND GIVING ME AN INSIGHT ON HOW EFFECTIVE WORDS CAN BE. AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED CLIFFORD T WARD IS THE ROBERT BROWNING OF THE 20TH CENTURY.
