"Home Thoughts from Abroad" is a song that nearly moves me to tears everytime I hear it.

Lovely, lovely song, as is "Gaye".

Many thanks for 'Home Thoughts From Abroad', the most heartbreakingly, beautiful song ever written.

Just to wish Mick Armitage a merry christmas from me and thanks for everything you've done for Cliff, in particular in making available the complete song lyrics, some of which appear on the Cherry Red Records CD of NO MORE ROCK'N'ROLL. I know that Cliff appreciated having the messages read out to him from this web-site and he felt more in touch with people who liked his music.

Thanks for everything YOU'VE done, too Dave! Best regards, Mick.

Way back in the 70's my wife and I enjoyed your music so much. Today, the vinyl albums are gone but they have been replaced with CDs and the pleasure lives on, not just for my wife and I but for our children who have also discovered your wonderful music. We enjoy "The Traveller" on "Home Thoughts" as it speaks about Jesus and how many many will did not accept Him as the Mesiah. He was rejected as He walked the earth, however to those who accept Him (even today) into their lives He has given them the right to be called the Sons's of God and freely gives them the gift of eternal life. Praise His name.
