'My God! O let me call Thee mine!'
- set to the tune of 'Justification'
(Manuscript Version)

Here is a page from the music copy-book which Anne had purchased while working as a governess at Thorp Green. She proceeded to copy many of her favourite songs and hymns into it. This page shows the first verse of her own hymn 'My God! O let me call Thee mine!', which she has set to a tune called 'Justification' (the title of which is written at the top), and the nature of the tune made it necessary for her to repeat the last line of each verse.

For a digitally enhanced (more readable) copy, complete with all verses - click on the music. The page you will access has been designed to be suitable for a 'print-out' - should this be required for performance of the hymn.
